Ruiru Professionals Association Hosts Hon. Esther Gathogo, Ruiru Member of National Assembly for a Public Forum

The Ruiru Professionals Association, a group founded on Facebook, consisting of various Professionals within the Ruiru Constituency held a Public Chat with their Member of National Assembly, Hon Esther Gathogo this evening where they had a chance to engage and question the MNA. In a lively discussion, major issues were discussed from Security, CDF, Uwezo fund, Infrastructure and education were tabled. Hon Esther explained to the public present how she has carried on various projects up to date. Construction of 6 classrooms at Gitothua primary school in Ruiru already began, which hopefully will be complete & the pupils will learn in them come next term. Various Projects already in progress, some have been completed. From Mwihoko Primary, Kwa Ng'ethe, Githurai Mixed, Kwihota, Ruiru Kihunguro, Gikumari Primary and Ruiru Girls, ranging from School Laboratories to Computer Labs, Classrooms extensions, Toilets and other basic necessities towards developing our Constituency and for the betterment of education standards for our children. Plans for a girls boarding secondary school in progress. Through the projects, pupils have been able to study in conducive environment.

 On infrastructure, Roads are being built and repaired all over, drainage systems are being upgraded and major plans in regard to roads are in place towards the near future. 
The CDF funds are already disbursed, the Bursaries have already reached the students through their respective schools which actually, has helped in saving time and money. Hon Esther Gathogo added that service to her constituents has come first and she is doing everything possible to make the lives of every single person better.

On Youths, plans are underway to set proper programmes to engage the youths, and a few examples like, Beauty contests, talent search, are some of her future plans towards giving the youth something they can engage themselves in. Uwezo Fund is already disbursed and she has called upon those who have already been granted loans to make proper use and refund in time so as to help others in the next financial year.
